I am a strong believer in having as many baskets as efficiently possible to carry my eggs.
Adsense is great and no more needs to be said.
Bidvertiser I use on one site and I think the best way to use them is to take advantage of the high CPC. So blending and a prominent position would be suggested.

Bidvertiser may be good for publisers but its crappy for advertisers. The click fraud rate is higher there. Secondly you need to add a credit card in order to qualify for the $20 bonus.
